Coboy Junior - My Favorite Idol

Hi my name is Ella. Here's my writing to fulfill assignment given by Ms. Silvana in my Speak Up Pre-Advanced 2 Class. I will tell you about my favorite idol, Coboy Junior.

               Coboy junior are the first Indonesian young boy band established on 23 July 2011. The members are Iqbal Dhiafakhri (Iqbal), Teuku Rizky Muhammad (Kiki), Alvano Maldini Siregar (Aldi), Bastian Bintang Simbolon (Bastian). His manager is Patrick Effendy. This boy band formed from the audition. After that, Coboy Junior produce the first single, “Kamu” on 23 July 2011. The song tell about teenager attracted with a girl by social media. The band, aside from their vocals, emphasises costumes and choreography. Coboy Junior is a boy band with a concept of the music from their daily. This teenagers attracted with a girl and support by technology, so they can express it to a song. Coboy Junior’s management made by Indra Bekti. The name is Inbekplus. Their fans called comate (Coboy Junior Mate). Comate scattered in Indonesia and other countries like Singapore, India, Germany, Canada, USA.

            January 2013 Coboy Junior's single ”Eeaa”, about puppy love, made the band popular. They had released three other singles by that time such as Kamu, Kenapa Mengapa, and Terhebat. Coboy  junior have many song, such as Eaa, Fight, Jendral Kancil, Kamu, Kenapa Mengapa, Satu Senyuman, Terhebat, Demam Unyu Unyu, Mama, Terus Berlari, Tetap Percaya, Ngaca Dulu Deh,  Pelangi Dan Mimpi Coboy Junior was scheduled to begin a national tour, styled the CJR Generation Tour 2013, from April to December 2013. They were to play in 30 Indonesian cities, from Sabang in the west Indonesia to Merauke in the east. The members still studying in regular junior high schools, because it the band was only allowed to tour on weekends, weekdays were dedicated to school. And then, on 5 June 2013 Coboy Junior released a movie. The title is Coboy Junior The Movie. In two days the film, directed by Anggy Umbara and costarring Astri Nudin, Fay Nabila, Abimana Aryasatya, Nirina Zubir, and Dewi Sandra, was seen by over 150,000 people. The film followed the band members as they underwent personal development and attempted to win a mixed singing and dancing competition.

            Coboy junior will disperse on 23 February 2014. Because one of the member, Bastian out from the boy band. Bastian out from the boy band because he want to solo karier. Many comate desagree with Bastian, Iqbal, Aldi, Rizki disicion. Coboy Junior, teen music group make a farewell concert that marked the end of their journey as a boy band group. The name of this concert is “Farewell Concert” and the topic is “A great trip, ends with a terrific”. The concert at Tennis Indoor Senayan, Jakarta on 23 February 2014. This is the last concert of four members perform. Because after this they will not appear together again. The decision to hold a farewell concert is based on a joint decision  from the management and the members of Coboy Junior. There are  many dreams and plans not materialized, but the management and the members of Coboy Junior think,  the decision to make this farewell concert is the best way. This concert present coboy Junior’s journey on 2011 until now. Coboy Junior sing all their songs in the concert. They also collaborate with another singer. When the concert, Aldi, Iqbal, Rizki explane that coboy junior disperse because they haven’t four. And then Aldi, Iqbal, Rizki make new group. The name is CJR.

            CJR will do a tour in other cities in Indonesia which have not been visited in previous years. According to the plan, in addition to Indonesia, this year CJR will perform a series of tour to Singapore and several cities in Malaysia. CJR will also make a book with the theme of diary of the personnel (Aldi, Kiki and Iqbal) and the outpouring of their hearts about the journey along Coboy Junior. CJR also will make CJR The Movie 2 movie which was shot will be conducted in Jakarta and the United States.

Justin Bieber

Justin Drew Bieber was born March, 1 1994 in Stratford, Ontario Canada. He is a pop singer, actor and song-writer. He popular from his video in Youtube. In 2008, he discovered by Scooter Braun that after watch his video and arranged him to meet with Usher. He signed with Raymond Braund Media Group (RBMG) with Braun and Usher. Then he according contract with Island Record.

He start with his debut single 'One Time' in 2009 and be top ten in Canada, also be top thirty in international market. His debut album 'My World' released in November, 17 2009.His first album got platinum in United States. He became the first artist who have 7 songs in the Billboard hot 100.
His first full studio release, My World 2.0 was released on March 23, 2010 and received similar success it debuted at number one and without the top ten of several countries, and was certified platinum in the United States. it also be  the worldwide top-ten single, "Baby," in January 2010. The music video of "Baby" is currently ranked as the most viewed and most discussed Youtube video .
Bieber followed-up the release of his debut album with his first tour, the My World Tour, the remix albums My World Accoustic , and the 3D biopic-concert film Justin Bieber: Never say Never – which have an opening weekend that nearly matched the record for the biggest opening weekend for a concert-film


Bieber's mother, Patricia Lynn "Pattie" Mallette.  Mallette, who worked a series of low-paying office jobs, raised Bieber as a single mother in low-income housing. Bieber has maintained contact with his father, Jeremy Jack Bieber, who married another woman and had two children. Bieber's paternal great-grandfather was a German immigrant to Canada. His mother's ancestry is French Canadian.

Gustav Aulia is a tv presenter. He was born at Sumedang, West Java on 4th January 1983. So he is twenty eight years old.  He had finished his college in Gunadarma  University, Depok, West Java. His wife is Sandra Dewi, but she is not the actress one. They have a son, named Malik Adhwa Aulia, the baby was born on 8th January 2009 .. ow he's so cute ..

In 2003 Gustav worked as Continuity Announcer for RCTI Promotion Department. Then, in 2005 he started to join with RCTI News. Beside as a tv presenter, others activity that Gustav do are being a host, a moderator, and a public speaker. Gustav's hobbies are playing football, traveling, and music.

Gustav Aulia has some tips for you, if you are a tv presenter, first, be the soul of the news that you read, second, make the audience as if in front of us, third, learn! learn! and learn!

When I got a task to read a news in front of all of my classmates and my teacher, on Indonesia Language subject, firstly I memorized the news and then I tried to follow Gustav's tips and I trained to read the news in my home before I presentated it. And when I already presentated my news, I felt convidence and a bit  nervous I think I already presentated it fluency, maybe that tips gave me some good effect  .. 

The motto of Gustav Aulia is to be success, don't make any limits on your self .. because that limits are your hopeless and satisfaction. =)

Hmmmmm .. I'm really enthusiastic to write about David Villa ..   =P

A football player, handsome, talented, and cool. David Villa is my favourite football player. He was born at Tuilla, a small village in North Spain on 3th December 1981. Now he's 29 years old. His full name is David Villa Sanchez. His weight is about 69 kg and his height is 1.75 m. Villa is a son of Jose Manuel Villa. When David Villa was a child (aged four), he suffered a fracture to his right femur, fortunately he had complete recovery from his pain.

David Villa is Spanish football player who plays for FC Barcelona and Spain National Football Team as a striker. He's the coolest striker for me .. His back number is seven (7). I used seven for my basketball costume.

Since 1999-2001 Villa played for Sporting Gijon B. Then he played for Sporting de Gijon until 2003 to started his profesional career. 2003-2005 he moved to Real Zaragoza. After that he moved again to Vallencia FC since 2005-2010. And since 2010 until now he has been playing for FC Barcelona.

David Villa had played seven times for junior Spain National Football Team. Unfortunately he couldn't make any goals since 2000-2003. Then since 2003 until now he has been playing for senior Spain National Football Team.

Villa played at Euro 2008, and at Euro 2008 Spain won. When Euro 2008 held, the coach of El Matador was Luis Aragones, the keeper was Iker Casillas, the halfbacks were Andres Iniesta, Xavi Hernandes, Cesc Fabregas, Xabi Alonso, Santi Cazorla, Marcos Senna, Ruben de la Red, David Silva, and the strikers were David Villa and Fernando Torres.

David Villa also played at FIFA World Cup 2010. He made many goals when Spain against Honduras, Chile, Portugal, and Paraguay in quarter final. Then La Furia Roja went to semifinal and would fight with Germany and of course Spain went to final and would fight with Netherland. Between Spain and Netherland were strong team. The coach of Spain Team was Vicente de Bosque, the keeper was Iker Casillas, the players were Sergio Ramos, Gerard Pique, Carles Puyol, Joan Capdevilla, Xabi Alonso (Cesc Fabregas), Xavi Hernandes, Andres Iniesta,  Sergio Busquets, Pedro (Jesus Nafas), and David Villa (Fernando Torres).

Finally Andres Iniesta made a goal and the score was 1-0, it made Spain became a Winner of  FIFA World Cup 2010. David Villa was the top scorer at FIFA World Cup 2010.

Francesc Fàbregas i Soler was born May, 4 1987 in Vilassar de Mar, Barcelona, Catalonia, Spain. He is a Spanish footballer who paly as central midfielder. He also play as captain Arsenal in Premier League and play in Spanish National team. Fabregas started his career in FC Bacelona. He signed in Arsenal in September 2003.

His parents Francesc Fàbregas, Sr and Núria Soler. His father is a property company and his mom is the owner of pastry company. Sice a child he like played football. He startse play in Bacelona Club. He signed in Arsenal 11 September 2003. He decided to move to London. At the first time move to London, he felt difficult to adapted. But after the help from his friend Philippe Sanderos. He move to arsenal in 16 years old. In his young career, Fàbregas never think to joined with the first team. He learned from his senior Patrick Vieira and Gilberto Silva, while concertrating and learned English.

He startes his debut on 23 October 2003, in League Cup to fight Rotherham United. Then, he become the youngest goalscorer in Arsenal's history after the League Cup fight Wolverhampton Wanderers with score 5-1. Fabregas use number 4 for his jersey. He choose number 4 because it means his born date. Fabregas get an issue that Arsene Wenger (Arsenal's coach) wanna make him into the transfer list. Real Madrid,the team who wanna buy Fabregas. The news is very strong, but Fabregas don't want to left Arsenal. He want stay in arsenal until Mr. Wenger wanna transfer him to anpther club.

Real Madrid and Barcelona, the both team really want get Fabregas again. They make Highest paid for him. Barcelona really wannna get the ex-player, but Real Madrid never give up. Now, Barcelona stop his dream to get Fabregas back.

Cristiano Ronaldo dos Santos Aveiro was born on Funchal, Madeira, Portugal in 5, February 1985. He is a Portugal footballer. Now he play in Spanish La Liga for club Real Madrid. . Ronaldo is the youngest child of Maria Dolores dos Santos Aveiro and Jose Dinis Aveiro. The name Cristiano Ronaldo have a meaning, Cristiano is because his mother want his son to be religious person and Ronaldo is taken from US President Ronald Reagan who is his father favourite actor. He has one olderbrother and two older sister, Elma and Liliana Catia.

At the first time be a football player, Ronaldo play in Andorinha club football in Portugal. He play in Andorinha starts from1993-1995. After that he played with local club Nacionalabout 1995-1997. Next after give winning for Nacional he moved to Sporting Clube de Portugal. He played about 1997-2001 and he appearances 25 times and 11 goals. He continue played in Sporting CP until 2003.

After that Sir Alex ferguson know his talent from the match that MU lose 3-0 with Sporting CP. Ferguson really want buy him from sporting CP. Ferguson need12,24 million Poundsterling. But Ferguson really lucky, he get Ronaldo that same with the price. Ferguson said that Ronaldo must use number 7 in MU because he is a talented football player. Ronaldo can show it to Old Trafford that he can make 84 goals in his 196 time appearances. And he can give trophy for MU to win Champions League. He played in MU about 6 years. He was named Player of The Tournament, FIFPro World Player of The Year and FIFA World Player of The World. He also get FIFA Ballon d'Or and becoming The Best Football Player 2008.

In 2009 he decided to move to Real Madrid from MU for 80 million Poundsterling and sign 6 years contract and also make him The Highest Paid Football Player in The World. Ronaldo was welcome by 80.000 fans in Santiago Bernabeu. Before he move to Real Madrid, Sir Alex Ferguson don't want he move there because Ferguson really love Ronaldo. But Ferguson can forbid Ronaldo.

Beside  play football Ronaldo also be a model of some advertisementlike Emporio Armani, Nike, Castrol, Extra Joss etc. When he was 5 years old his father is passed away, it make him really need to feel love from father. He live with his Mother in Spain. At the first time his family are live in Portugal but now, they move to Madrid and stay in Ronaldo's villa.

Many people said that Ronaldo is playboy. That statement is true because he really almost change his girlfriend. His ex girlfriend are Kim Kadarshian, Paris Hilton, Nereida Gallardo, Bipasha Basu and many others. Now, 2011 he have girlfriend name Irina Shayk. Maybe they will married after this Summer.

Rick Riordan

Rick Riordan who has full name Richard Russell was born on June 5 1964 (age 46) in San Antonio, Texas.
He  is the author of the Percy Jackson & the Olympians series. He also wrote the Tres Navarremystery series for adults.His first book in the series is  The Maze of Bones. As far he always write with genres Fantasy, Detective fiction,Mythology.


He is like reading since he was child. And the first book that Rick Riordan remember reading is fun was the Lord of the Rings. He read mostly fantasy and science fiction in high school, then he start got interested in mysteries when He got to college. He started writing when he was in middle school. The first story he submitted for publication was when he was 13. It wasn’t published. His first published works were two short stories in the UTSA literary magazine.


Rather than say "things that i like", he's one of the peoples who inspires me. I love the way he write a story, it feels real and he has wild imagination! He ever said that his favorite book he wrote is which have a hard question for a writer. It's kinda rarely tought, but i think that's excess of Rick Riordan that can make he different from the others novel writer.

Any advice for young people who want to be writers?

I started writing seriously when I was in eighth grade. I had an English teacher who encouraged me to submit my work for publication.
I became a middle school English teacher largely because of the impact Mrs. Pabst had on me twenty-three years ago, and I love having the chance to encourage kids to write the way I was encouraged. That’s one of the reasons I was not anxious to leave the classroom to pursue full-time writing.
The first thing a young writer needs is a mentor who believes in his or her talent. So don’t be afraid to ask for help! Find a teacher you respect. Correspond with authors. You will find that a polite email will almost always get a response.
Secondly, read a lot! Read everything you can get your hands on. You will learn the craft of writing by immersing yourself in the voices, styles, and structures of writers who have gone before you.
Thirdly, write every day! Keep a journal. Jot down interesting stories you heard. Write descriptions of people you see. It doesn’t really matter what you write, but you must keep up practice. Writing is like a sport — you only get better if you practice. If you don’t keep at it, the writing muscles atrophy.
Finally, don’t get discouraged! Rejection is a part of writing, and it hurts. The trick is to keep at it. Wallpaper your room with rejection notes, if you want, but don’t give up.

After read his books i always think "I want to be like him!"
I really love his novels. It's not boring and reaal 'teen' haha
And he teached something from his advice,  it's like 'write about anything, just do what you want, and don't ever give up!"

Many girls in Indonesia like him. He has cute smile. He's a dutch. He was born at Amsterdam, Netherland on August 11, 1988. Now He's about 22 years old.

He has black hair. He's tall. He has eyes that the colour like cat''s eyes, I think.He has pointed nose. He has white skin. He has tatto on right hand. I don't know the picture......
He has a girl friend. His girlfriend's name is Jennifer Kurniawan. Jennifer is german. Jennifer is sister of Kim Kurniawan, one of the Persema malang player.

O yeah, Irfan Bachdim has played with the National Team of Indonesia. his back number is 17. After played with the national team, suddenly He has a problem. Persema Malang came out from Indonesia Super League (ISL). So Persema moved Indonesia Primer League (IPL). LPI -in Indonesia- is illegal for PSSI. because that Irfan Bachdim can't play with national team of Indonesia. It's hard for Irfan, because his ambition in Indonesia is he wants to be a football player at the national team of Indonesia. but when press conference, he said if he choose persema. he desired to leave his ambition for Persema. You know, Persema is his first team in Indonesia that he enjoyed.
I think, now Irfan Bachdim has forgot his problem with PSSI. Because he always smiles and look cheerful when he will play football.

I like him because he's very handsome :) . I like his teeth. And now, I can see Irfan Bachdim everyday because now he appeared in a advertisement on TV. haha :D

Jay Sean

I never felt so amazed on a singer before when I’m reached 24 years old. Now, in my age, way older than 24 years old I’m so in love with a multitalented singer, rapper, beatboxer, and music producer, Kamaljit Singh Joothi a.k.a (also known as) Jay Sean. I was amazed by his song called “Do You Remember”. I got copied this song accidentally from a friend. When I listen to the song I don’t even know who the singer is. When I knew he was Jay Sean, I thought he’s Latin from South America.

Then at the karaoke place, I listened to his song again. I really like his song. I tried to browse more about him. I was very surprised when I found on Wikipedia that he’s an Indian British singer. He sang many outstanding songs. I love all of his songs; such as Down (which turns to be the number 1 U.S single for weeks or maybe month), then Do You Remember, Stolen, Dance With Me, Tonight, Ride It and many other songs.

What make me so in love with him is his talents. I haven’t known any singer who can rap, sing, and beatbox at the same time. I’ve checked on his video and his interview. Jay Sean is a humble nad funny man. He made many funny video. He’s not like any other rappers. I think it’s because of his asian blood. Yayyyy I’m proud of being asian.
