The Gift of A Friend

taken from google.co.id

Another one of my favorite songs is "The Gift of A Friend" by Demi Lovato. This is an old song on the album "Here We Go Again" (2009). But I fell in love with this song.
This song became the original soundtrack of "Tinker Bell and the Lost Treasure" as the lead single.
This song tells of a friend

I ever thought that I was more calm without my friends, but after I heard this song, it has a point. It's easy to say "I DON'T NEED YOU" or "I DON'T NEED YOUR HELP" but when we really feel alone, deep in our innermost hearts we really needed a faithful friend.
And you will never be alone as long as you have friends.
I agree with the sound of the saying "friends where we reflect."
So learn from your friend. =)

Check the video and lyrics out

Sometimes you think you'll be fine by yourself
'Cause a dream is a wish that you make all alone
It's easy to feel like you don't need help
But it's harder to walk on your own

You'll change inside when you realize

The world comes to life and everything's bright
From beginning to end when you have a friend by your side
That helps you to find the beauty you are
When you open your heart and believe in the gift of a friend
The gift of a friend

Someone who knows when you're lost and you're scared
And they're through the highs and the lows
Someone you can count on, someone who cares
Beside you wherever you'll go

You'll change inside when you realize

The world comes to life and everything's bright
From beginning to end when you have a friend by your side
That helps you to find the beauty you are
When you open your heart and believe in the gift of a friend

And when your hope crashes down
Shattering to the ground you'll, you'll feel all alone
When you don't know which way to go
And there's no signs leading you home, you're not alone

The world comes to life and everything's bright
From beginning to end when you have a friend by your side
That helps you to find the beauty you are
When you open your heart and believe in
When you believe in, when you believe in the gift of a friend

Tugu Pahlawan

Hello Blog Walking.....
I come back to write my new topic. Now my new topic is Tugu Pahlawan. Tugu in English is monument. Pahlawan in English is heroes. Tugu Pahlawan is symbol of my town. Why like that? Tugu Pahlawan was built to remember heroes from Surabaya that fight against Dutch in 1945. At that time all of citizen in Surabaya fight against Dutch to defend independence of Indonesia, especially Surabaya. There was a moment that one of Surabaya’s citizen tear Dutch flag. The citizen tears the blue one of the flag. Because Indonesia’s flag is Red-White.

If you see Tugu Pahlawan, maybe you’ll think that the monument like a big pencil. Because when I was a child, I always called it Big Pencil. The monument is white, and then at the end is pointed like pencil. Inside Tugu Pahlawan area, there is a underground museum. If I’m not mistake, the price to enter the museum is cheap. It’s about Rp5000,00/person. Inside the museum, we can see some guns/weapon, some pictures in the past, old car, and some dramatically sculptures. Also there are some dioramas that tell history. The histories that very famous in citizen are Jembatan Merah and citizen that tears the Dutch flag. Besides museum, Tugu Pahlawan’s area also has large field. Usually in the weekend there are some events that hold there. Like the stage of fun bike or fun walk, and also stage for concert some bands/singers to celebrate Surabaya’s birthday (31 May). The entrance of Tugu Pahlawan is the sculpture of The first President and co-president of Indonesia. They are Ir.Soekarno and Moh.Hatta. The sculpture is tell when they was read proclamation script to  Another habit is every weekend, there are many seller sell anything around outside Tugu Pahlawan’s area. It’s always makes traffic jam around there.

How do you think about Tugu Pahlawan guys? Is it interesting right? So if you are in Surabaya, you must visit Tugu Pahlawan! One of historical place in Surabaya. Thank you...

taken from http://www.google.co.id/

Suramadu Bridge is the longest bridge in Indonesia. The location is in East Java, Indonesia, across Madura Strait. It called 'SURAMADU' because that bridge connected Surabaya and Madura Island (Bangkalan), so SURA from Surabaya and MADU from Madura. It is 5438 meters long and about 30 meters wide. It was built in 2003 and inaugurated in 2009 by President of Indonesia, Susilo Bambang Yudhoyono. The construction of Suramadu bridge has proven to be very helpful the development of Madura island, especially in economics.

This bridge provides free space as high as 35 meters from the surface to accommodate cruise ships crossing the Strait of Madura. This bridge provides four lanes of two directions with two emergency lanes. This bridge also provides a special lane for motorcyclists on each side of the bridge.

This bridge is basically a combination of three types of bridges. First, causeway construction was built to connect the bridge with the road through the shallow waters on either side of the island. The second is approach bridge, it connects the main bridge with causeway. And the last is main bridge, it consists of three parts, two side spans 192 meters long and one along the 434-meter main span. The main bridge using a cable stayed construction supported by the twin towers as high as 140 meters.

In case of fog and hard winds above 40 km/h the motorcyclist lane should be closed. Because the wind speeds that could lose the balance of motorcycles. In addition visibility is also short because of fog. After the rain subsided and fog reduced motorcyclist lanes will be reopened. So that people do not need to worry.
