Hello all…
Now I want to tell you about an animal. The animals that I want to describe now is elephants
Everybody knows elephants. Elephant is a big animal. Elephants have large ears and small eyes. The most special thing from elephant is they have a trunk and tusk. Their trunk is use to eat, take a bath, and pick up a single of grass. They don't use their trunk to drink, but make the trunk as their tools to drink. The steps are they filling the trunk with some water then use it as a hose and pour it into their mouth. Their tusk always be hunted by humans for their necessaries.
I don’t want to tell you about the specifications of elephants, because everybody ever sees elephants in zoo. So I want to tell you about the interesting facts about elephants.
Elephants have two species. It is Asian elephants and African elephants. Of course, both of them have some difference things. The Asian elephants’ height reached 3.5 meters. And the weight reached 5 tons…..WOW! So heavy…..
The African elephants’ height reached 4 meters. Then the weight reached 7 tons. The color of the Asian and the African elephants is difference too. The African one has dark grey than the Asian.
Do you know if elephants are fine in dark? I just know it. So in dark situations, elephants can see anything clear in the dark situation! It use to see and dodge the lions or tigers or another enemies. Two elephants or more can make twenty lions or more are fear. But if an elephant and twenty lions meet, the elephant will lose against the lions and the elephants will be the food of lions. So sad.
Ohya, I have an experience with elephant……
When I went to the zoo in Surabaya with my English course friends, I was making a video with my partner Emma. The video is tell about a elephants, so we move to elephants cage :D when I and Emma went there, the Elephants were eating some grass that gave from the cage guard. Hihi, when we will take a video, the elephant spout us with water by their trunk…. We were very shock, then we laugh together :D Then we move to another elephant cage. In another cage, we saw baby elephant. Although still baby, the baby’s body is big too….
Current elephant falls into one of extinct animals. That's because a massive manhunt by human against elephants. they just want to take the tusk from elephants that they hunt because the sale of the tusks is expensive. we should not imitate the actions of the elephant hunters. because it is very harmful to the elephants. So LET SAVE THE ELEPHANTS! DON'T BROKEN THEIR HABITAT!! :)Do you want to donate some your money for elephants? Let's go on Save the Elephants :)

oh.. too bad :(
ReplyDeleteHello :)
ReplyDeleteA nice piece of writing Nindy. I have never thought there were two species of elephants and that the differences between them were so...well, big :) I should go to zoo to check which ones we have :P
As for the grammar and structure, it is ok, but You should always remember about proof-reading. I am pretty sure that you would notice some small errors. For example, remember about the passive when you write: "Their trunk is use to eat, take a bath.." Here you should use passive voice and write "it is USED to..." Or the part "we were very shock, then we laugh together :D". Please, instead write "we were very SHOCKED and then we LAUGED together"
Apart from that, a very nice word that would increase liability of your writing is "poachers". That's the name for the illegal hunters who kill elephants and other animals. The next time you wish to mention them, be sure to use this word :)
Apart from that, this is a nice and interesting piece of writing, especially the part about your trip to zoo :) Are you that much interested in elephants or do you love animals in general?
Regards :)
thank you for your criticism :)
