THE ADOLESCENCE

            Adolescence is a period that someone absolutely pass after his or her childhood. It is also a transition period between childhood and adulthood. Person who are being in this period called teenager. In this period teenagers’ development are fast. Mostly, teenagers tend to learn about their selves and what people’s think about them. Also, they are labile.

            I feel that adolescence gives effects on someone’s future or adulthood. A child who grew in a well family, for example, is not definite his or her future to be a good person, because at adolescence, teenagers have their opportunity to choose which one they are prefer to. They have learn about good or bad things that they have to choose. Their environment affect teenagers’ attitude. It could be their family, friends, teacher, or relatives.

            I believe the useful thing that teenagers done at adolescence is they try to find their identity. They start to define their selves, criticize their selves, then they are unsatisfied with their selves and turn their selves into another person that they think he or she is better than them. Those make teenagers are labile. The way people look at them and their origin (who are their family and relatives, their childhood and experience) are affected the teenagers to find out who they are.

            In my opinion, being a teenager has the eases and difficulties. The ease, for example, I can dress up with many colors and many modes. It doesn’t matter at my age, because I still young. Imagine if the old people dress up with bright color? They will look gaudy and it does not appropriate for their age. Another ease is I can gain a lot of experiences from my family, friends, relatives, teacher, and people around me. Then I can pick values from the experiences that I got.

            Adolescence is the most confused period in my life. Sometimes people consider me to think and act as an adult but sometimes they think I only just a child. For example, I was not allowed to involved in my parents’ conversation. I was wondering why they did not allow me, besides I also a part of family? It was confused me. Another example is when I got a home work and I asked the family members to help me, but what they said was “you can finish your task by yourself, you’re not a child anymore”. Oh my God.. I sighed deeply at that time.

            Therefore, adolescence is a transition period which every child will pass, to change a child to be an adult. Just enjoy this period and use your brain to lead you to the bright future.

Teenage Life

Being teenager is like our gold period of time after we passed the childhood and we will go to adolescence. In this moment teenagers can do everything they want. The emotion that they have still labile. Sometimes the adult should maintain them when they want to do something. Most of people said that teenagers were the good time for you to find you’re truly self. It can show what your adult like.

Teenagers do not have any limitation when they want to do something. It also makes people think that they are the cause of a mess. Like in Indonesia, most of teenagers who still stay at school did something that very untrue. They got fight with other school and they made everything so bad. But, not only the bad things about teenager. Most of Indonesian students also have a lot of achievement. They can show that teenagers not only made a mess.

Sometimes the adult think that teenager cannot participate in life. They cannot ask for help. They only can waste time and money. In teenager minds the only thing that they think is how to make their self getting happy and happy. They do not want to get sad or thinking about something that very serious and it make them cannot enjoy the life. 

Most of teenager should get maintain from adult. The adult should notice and give an advice to the teenagers. Just show which is the right way for them to find out their truly self. Maybe like find their talent. From the talent teenager can show their ability in participating something. And of course it can make their waste time to be worth time.

So, that’s why most of people like and dislike with the teenagers. We can enjoy our teenage life but do not forget to stay in a right way.

In my opinion school is the second home for me, because I spent most of my time at school especially when I was in junior and senior high school. When I was a junior high school student, I started studying at 7 a.m. and finished about 2 p.m. Then when I was a senior high school student, I studied 9 hours per day from 7 a.m. – 4 p.m. because my school was full-day school. Friends and teachers at school were the other family for me. We laugh, cry, share, and we done many activities together.

Based on my experience, spending too many time at school give consequences. First, I spend few time with my family at home, especially with my parents. Even when I take course after school, usually to prepare the national exams, I meet my family only about 2-3 hours. In fact, I felt closer with my friends, instead my parents. Another consequence is even it was a full day school, I still got homeworks and sometimes I done it till late night. I think studying is a good activity but too long time for studying is not good. Brain needs rest and refreshing frequently. Moreover, when I already tired from school, the only thing I want to do is take a rest, that’s why I had few time to re-study the materials I’ve learned.

However, school is one of unforgetable memory in your life that teach you lots of values by the experiences you’ve passed. Those of all experiences will probably help you to face what’s coming on your future. Maximize your school since it is a way to make your dreams come true.

            School is one of the important things in our life that we need to pass. Every children in this world need this period. It is also being like a second place for children. In a school we can find many experiences that we cannot find it in another place. We can learn many things there. For me school is like a place for students to learn about the lessons. Besides that, it is also like a place to learn about other people. The most important things are we learn about friendship. This is very interesting thing to know because we learn about the lesson but we also get important value about friendship.

            Every student has a like or dislike from school. The most interesting thing from school is about the friends. At the first time I met people that I did not know before. But after the period of time we knew each other the friendship will be build together start from the first year at school.

            School always has good memories to remember. When I started my first year, it would be great and weird moment. The great thing was when I met all of the new students that will be my new friends. The weird thing was when nobody there that I knew and we need to introduced our self one by one. This entire thing needs an adaptation. How do we put our self in a condition when we do not have any friend? Just be brave and said to yourself that they are will be my friend and as soon as possible I need to know them well.

            When we talk more about school it is never end and it always have something to discuss. Most of the students really love their school because of some reason. But there are also some students that not happy with the school. Maybe it is because the task from the teacher that too much. Besides that, the reason also should be the comfortable from the students at school. How they get a friend and how their friend being a good or bad friend. But most of all just enjoy your school because after you graduated from there you will be missing something that you cannot find it in another place. So, be kind to your friend and just do what your teacher say!

            Some of the half time in a day the students spend it at school. The school time also make the students getting bored. Actually, the better way is just use the right time and do not make it over. Sometimes the teacher cannot realize that when they teach over the time the students cannot get it well but the teacher always forces it. They think that the over time is better for the student but in the real situation it is impossible.

            If I were the principal, I will make the proportional time for my student. And I will not make the over time. Because I know that we cannot force our brain to work hard. As possible we try our brain to work hard it would not be good at all. We will not get anything if we push the brain.

center available in this city. One of the best shopping place in

Surabaya based on my opinion is Tunjungan Plaza or people call it TP.

That's the most popular mall in Surabaya. It's located on Jalan Basuki

Rachmad and Jalan Embong Malang Surabaya. Why is it located on two

streets? Yap, because TP is a big mall. It has four main buildings, TP

I, TP II, TP III, and TP IV.

Furthermore TP provides many facilities. For example wide parking lot
for cars and motorcycles, overpass, movie theater, department store,
studio foodcourt, etc. You can find many branded shops, local and
international food restaurants, also fitness center. When you visit
this mall for the first time, maybe you'll get confuse, but you can
check the directions or ask the securities. Even when you run out of
money, only with window shopping might be a pleasure for you.
I always feel comfortable when I'm visiting TP. Sometimes I watch
movie or just have lunch at the foodcourt, so I recommended this mall
as a topic in this blog.

Bebek Mercon for the spicy hunters in Surabaya

Bebek Mercon is one of the favorite food in Surabaya. it can be translate into English 'firework ducks' (it is sound so silly). it is made from fried ducks and we can eat it with sambal. Sambal is spicy sauce that made from so many chili but it is different with the sauce who sells in mini market. 

That's the looking of the Bebek Mercon. Why is it called Bebek Mercon? because, the seller use so many chilli for the sambal and when we eat it with the nice fried ducks it will be like a firework in our mouth. Boom ...boom....boooom. That's the sound of the firework. For people who don't like with the spicy food please don't try this food. 

This famous food is located in Kayoon Street 10A Surabaya near the Plaza of Surabaya. We can choose the level of the spicy. Start from the lower until the higher. The price is only 11.000 rupiahs per portion. It is very cheap for the amazing culinary like this.
